She

She moves with an air
of
unbearable sadness,
and limbs heavy as

thousand year old tree branches.

She is unclaimed,
unforgiven,
not chosen,
not living.

She lays on clean, white sheets
in a cool, dark room
and drifts off to

sleep
away

what was supposed to be her

life.

And no doubt, she stays a matriach to her spirit.
Beautiful as always, Sara.

Crimson,

wow, thanks. Do you know that you saying you think it is my best work really makes me believe it?

A thousand times over thank you, my friend.

I am so happy my love for ' She ' is understood by its composer.

Sara, another of my absolute favourites from your beautiful compositions is ' This is the heart of darkness '

you wrote it way back in october. These two are specially dear to me.

Keep writing my friend...only our words constitute this state we liv and die for ...

and thank you for writing on ...

This is something special indeed. I really like how the just the line "she lays on clean, white sheets" creates the shimmer of hope that is then destroyed. You're writing is very also distinct, which is something I find very important.

Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful with those images telling a sad story so well.

I always like sad poems, probably because it's the kind I tend to write too and this one is so well written. I love the words "clean white sheets" it made me think of a blank sheet of paper (empty) like her life. Nice poem.

I love all of this... except maybe the line "air of unbearable sadness"
The poem is strong enough without it!
